No Search BUTTON, want to change Bose!!!!

Hi, plz don't flame cuz I can't search and I don't have the time to search through all the posts to find what I need. Please help me here guys. My sisters 96 Maxima SE with BOSE recently had the stock head unit die out on her. Her friend has an audio shop so he just quickly put on a Clarion cd/mp3 HU on her car and probably soem converter, I dunno cuz I wasnt there. Now there is a badddddd annoying hissing noise and she can't stand it since having it for weeks. She wants to know what is the best way to remedy this situation and at what cost. I think if somebody knows of a correct adapter or something...VEN4?? etc.. or whatever that should correct then let me know that first. It would be nice if you could state whether she can keep the stock speaks and just change out the ---clarion HU to Bose amp--- thing. She just wants to get rid of that hiss first if not then new pieces will definitely have to be added. She's also not a super audiophile, she would've been fine with the stock setup had it not died. I know from reading some posts long ago that there was some convertor or adapter ...was it in line or rca connection thing that we could get to connect aftermarket HU to bose speakers....I dunno I maybe crazy. Just let me know guys. She can't stand it so she'll be looking to do this soooon.
