I have a 01 maxima with the BOSE system with the 8, I got the speakers working by bypassing the amp and tapping through factory harness. But i cannot get the BOSE sub to work, I tried to power it up by tapping power grnd and switch to it, I tapped the rear speakers to the sub speaker wires, but I still can't power it up. I get a little pop when I power up the switch wire.

What I wanna know is, do the bose amp power the sub? or is the sub amped on its own, I took out the sub and saw that there is a lil silver box underneathe the sub, is this the amp for it? I want to get this fixed ASAP my car sounds like *** without no sub!
