where is your power inverter?

i was just wondering where you guys put your power inverters. i used to have a little crappy one that i put under my seat but i recently upgraded to a bigger one with a fan and when i put it under my seat the fan is just too freaking loud and annoying, (u wouldn't really think so but it is) so i was just wondering if there was any other place to put it. i tried in the dash and in the center console somewhere but i couldn't find a good spot.

i put mine in the trunk. i got cigarette lighter extension from radio shack for about...... $8 and it has an on and off switch on it. when the inverter is in the trunk, the fan is only heard when the car is off..... if the car is on, you wont hear it unless u know its there. (btw, i have a coleman 200/400 watt inverter) the only bad thing with this setup is that the cord isnt long enough to hide under the carpet. i had to hide the cords under my floormats.

yeah, it is kinda loud... i got an extension cord for the dvd player too, lol..... i hid some of the cords under the center console..... and from there it proceeded under the driver chair to the trunk.... this is the only place i can put it without the inverter going crazy in the car..

i actually thought about mounting it in the engine bay but running the wire for the dvd player and the switch would be a ***** and i wouldn't want to rsik burning up the inverter
