hey im planning on powering a Polk audio mono block amp(already in) and a polk audio 100x4 amp.....im using two 12" kappa perfect subs DVC and 6.5 component kappa perfect, and 6.5 kappa perfect 2 ways....
Do i need to get a new battery? i hear yellow top....what is the difference if i need it but dont get it, will my headlights dim?? anyone that is powering two amps, let me know what your expereinces are, thanks!!
Also if i need to buy that, where can i get a good quality one for a good price thanks!

No you don't NEED a new battery, unless the one you have now has problems. Make sure that you add another wire for ground to the battery as big as the one you are running to the trunk for power. If you are running two amps, you should have at least an extra ground from the chassis to the battery in the same guage as the power wire to the trunk. If you have this, and your lights are still dimming, then look at a new battery.
Use low gauge wire and you'll be just fine.
I have 2 Eclipse amps. One is 2000 watts and the other is 800. I also have Navi/TV/DVD and HID's. I have 0 gauge wire with an Exide battery and there is NO dimming whatsoever.
