What would you think if I......

I was possibly looking to add video to my audio. Since I'm kinda tight on money, i was thinking of putting a dvd player under a seat or in the glove box, with screens in the visors and headrests. Would the dvd player not being in the dash be gay, or could I pull that off without a problem?

yeah why couldn't you do that, im sure tons of ppl on here have dvd players under their seat or under the glove box, me included. just because your not spending a grand or 2 on an in dash dvd player/screen doesn't make u gay or cheap. many ppl have better things to spend thier money on. i bought a $181 screen, mounted it in my dash, and had an extra dvd player around the house that i mounted under my glove box. hooked it all up to my clarion cd player with auxilary input and got an audio/video setup for under $400. Is that not doing it right the first time? Oh well, I'm happy with it.

I have mine under my seat and you can't see it or you wouldn't even know it was there. It's smaller than most regular house dvd players, even though it's still considered a house dvd player. I say forget the in dash player and at least get the in dash screen. The reason being if you get the player/screen and one of them goes out or stops working for whatever reason, you're screwed. At least if they're seperate, you can replace whichever one stopped working. Just my .02.
