nice! the only thing i dont like is how the buttons below the screen are 1/2 way cut off... but there is not much you can do about that.

try to hold the camera very, very still so it doesnt blur like that. i used to have an olympus digi cam and i had tht problem where the slightest shaking will fawk up a whole pic. now i have a canon and even with my hand shaking i still get clear pics.

the tv looks nice. i dont mind the buttons being exposed i think it looks great. what kinda power inverter do u have. i have a coleman power inverter that i think is overkill cause it has this fan and if i dont flip the switch it stays on all the time. the fan is also very loud.

check out cardomain to see some pics of my tv also, 7 in flip out.

magicone: maybe i should look for a new camera, i have the stylus 400...either that or ima start using the tripod for everything, i actually took those pix while the car was still moving. so u can imagine the shakes driving around in brooklyn...was havin fun, what can i say. i have a whistler power inverter for upto 350....i know what your talking about with the on position all the time. im actually going to make a custom switch right behind (right of) the wheel. this way i can turn the converter on and off right up front. ill post when i do this...im going to get another inverter to open up and check the insides to see what will have to be done. another choice is actually to use one of those spare harnesses behind the head unit and figure out what comes on with the ignition back there and just power the inverter offa that.

myke: actually got it for 130 off ebay...thats the reason i took the gamble instead of gettin the microvision everyone has. but its cool wit me for right now. if anything later on ill get sumthing real crystal clear. i havent even seen a microvision in person yet so im not sure how it will compare to the pyle

thanx man, subs will be out by 2005, the whole thing weighs a s#it load. 3 audiobah 12's with those heavy @ss magnets, the box, lol. i need something light weight so ill be getting 1 15 and have a jl audio amp for it. the system pounds like a **** tho, i have a nice headunit and i keep the sub level on 1/4 to 1/2 for everyday stuff but when i want to show off i turn up the sub level.

i just figured a way to turn on the inverter with a switch. i figure ill run an auxilery switch on the power wire so it will be something like a breaker. ill flip the switch when i want the inverter on so i dont have to continuously reach over to turn on/off the inverter. this was so simple i dont know why i didnt think of it before. now if i can only find a way to have the ps2 turn on without pressin the button all the time.

lol..be careful if u open up the ps2....once u get to deep its extremely hard to reattach the data cables (their tiny as hell) im going to keep in mind the setup your talking about for the switch....im actually planning to fit 2 switches in that space i was talking about behind wheel. the other switch will be for blue lights under the seats.

so how is it mounting the screen in the center assembly? is it pretty straightforward, or did you have to make some modifications?

I'm also looking to do the same setup you did, but what's holding me back is that i want a good quality screen. how's yours? is it better then the microwave or whatever from the GD? if not do you know where i could find a pretty good quality screen? i could spend about $200 - $300 for a good quality screen. and use ps2 as a DVD player and a good head unit. thank you

P.

i have never seen the microvision in person...the tv isnt that clear though compared to sonys ive seen in stores. it might not be as clear as a microvision. i wasnt really planning on a tv but the price was right so i took the shot. its suitable for me right now. for the most part there arent too many choices for $2-300 for a screen that just sits in the double din like that. most cost more...this is an example http://www.1-877camcorder.com/lz700w.html
this is probably definately living room quality

then u have this which is a little above your range http://www.1-877camcorder.com/ptpowac7clam.html
but thats made by a company im not familiar with, ive actually seen pyle before from araffio's max. so i knew at least someone had it and thought it was cool.

heres one in your range
http://www.1-877camcorder.com/tm-svt718m.html
neva heard of them neither, but one problem with this is that it doesnt have a black frame. you can do something custom with this and match your dash to the color of the frame on tv...that would be unique. the other problem though is that it looks like the buttons on the bottom protrude.

plus most of the major brands only make the motorized ones (the ones that go in and out).

the ps2 is a fine idea...a lot of people have that set up. originally i was going to put it in the glovebox but decided it would look to messy since the ps2 is bigger and cutting would be involved. so its under my passenger seat.
