HELP!!..savv brand tv wiring..*PICS*

I recently bought a 2) 7 inch savv 7800 tft lcd monitor off of someone and can't get the wiring to work. The cable has blue, black, red, yellow, green, white, gray and orange wires on the end (as seen in the pic). When i hook up the red to my power, black to ground and yellow to a video source, the screen powers up and then cuts off after a few seconds. My question is what do these other wires mean and what do they need to be connected to? Any one with info please reply. Thanks

D
(sorry 4 the small pics)

those pics are horrible, but from the looks of it, you want red to be accessory power, so it comes on with the key in the ignition, and yellow is going to be constant power. see if you can find a manual online somewhere before you start installing them.

here's the link to the 7800 monitors: http://www.savv.com/products_monitor_7800.htm. if you click the "dealer support" link, it gives you a toll free number to call. they should be able to help you out. good luck

Yes you need a video input lead. Most monitors nowadays will shutoff after a few secs if no source is being fed to them...
