The CD Player doesn't work in my 97SE, it's not a bose. I just got the car, and a light comes on that says ALL when I put a CD in, then it says CD Err. Has this happened with anyone else? Anybody got any ideas on a replacement if the Head Unit is bad?

 

yah, i got the same problem. i got the 00 maxima with a bose system. and i got a cd changer that comes with the car when i bought it. it just happens today, when all of a sudden, the cd changer stops playing. it would load the cds cause i can hear them when i turn off my engine, but it just skips from one cd to another and it would not play. and eventually, it gave up on me and display with Err on the display screen.
i don't know what is wrong with it. i have burnt cds in there but i also have original cds in there as well, so i don't think the cds were the problem. so if you find out what's wrong with yours, can you give drop me a line and tell me what's going on?
anybody else knows what's up with that are also welcome to message me. thanx.
