Headrest LCDs for a 5th gen...

I went to a sound shop yesterday and they said that I would have to get the lcd mounted outside of the material on the back of the headrest because of the way that the cloth is attached to the headrest. My question is this, is there a headrest from another car that would fit in the mounting post holes in my max? I would like to get like a visonik or a myron & davis setup. Any help would be appreciated :-)

or get other headrests and do them yourself...may not come out PERFECT, but hey, you did it yourself, you'll feel better. i used 4th gen headrests, ripped the bars out and put the 5th gen bars in there. then had a freinds mom make headrest covers to match my cloth.

I had a really hard time getting them in my 2k2 also.. If i had to do it again I would most def change up the headrest.. The rounded backs of the 2k2-2k3 headrest make it almost impossible for a clean installation..

I was looking at the headrest from the 00-01 and it looks a lot flatter, has anyone put tv's in one of those yet?

Thanks man.. Much appreciated..
They were visors that had the monitors already built in.. They were a pain to get in the vehicle and look decent at the same time.. They were dark grey so I had to get them painted to match the interior, plus the mounts that hold it to the headliner weren't the right size so I had to customize the mounts from leftover parts of my factory visors to get it to fit properly.. I am still working on perfecting them but they do the trick for now.. They are Phoenix Digital 5" visor monitors..

This is the closest/clearest picture that I have..
