help on 98 non bose rear speaker install

help on 98 non bose rear speaker install

hey guys,
I was just at a shop, and the guys there said that maximas have to be rewired for new speakers to work. Is that true? And do you have any tips on how i should install the new speakers? http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/prod...unch%20Coaxials thats the speakers i just baught. Oh yeah, and i dont have a bose system... does the stock system have the amp too?

1. Non-Bose systems do not have to be re-wired.

3. Install is quite easy.
Front Doors:
Just remove the door panel taking care to first remove the screws in the door lock/unlock handle, arm rest, etc. Carefully pry the panel using a $5.00 door panel tool(hardware store). Now you just unscrew the old speakers and install the new ones.

Rear Doors:
A. Remove lower back seat
B. Remove three bolts that hold upper back seat and pull seat forward.
C. Move side cabin panels through which the rear seat belt travels.
D. Using the trim tool again pry up the rear package shelf
E. Speakers are now exposed. Remove and Replace.

4. The guys at the shop are all obviously on CRACK.

the rear speakers are easy, you can do them yourself
