stock head on GXE?

the stock head in my gxe has both a tape and cd player. im assuming that this is not the bose system only because i see no bose decals on the head and the speakers. am i right in this assumption? i have a cadence 12"sub that im gonna hook up to this system, along w/ a 1000watt amp. i also have an old clarion head, but since this one works fine, i figure im just gonna keep this one in....back to the question tho, am i right in assuming that this is NOT the bose system?

If you have the double din HU & it doesn't read BOSE where you would insert a tape then it is not the BOSE system. I actually liked it better when I had my stock HU still in the vehicle because I didn't have to worry about theives stilling my ****. Only problem you will run into is that your subwoofer is going to overpower the high's way to much. The stock HU doesn't produce enough power to the stock high's. So plan on eventually amplifying the high's so they will match your bass output. Good luck!
