finally installed a system, tell me what you think

i used the stock bose head unit and got a high low adapter running off the rear speakers to a 820 watt power acoustic amp to a punch DVC

the punch dvc is in a tube and i want to know who to mount the amp? with velcro? or screw it into the cardboard under the mat? neways i love the bass its crazy.

lol sorry about the pictures its just a punch dvc in a tube, o by the way can i run the remote wire off the cig lighter fuse? is that too much volts? it has a constant flow of 12v thanks

You can run it off that fuse (your remote wire turn on signal only needs less than an amp to activate), but I think thats going to be constant 12v when what you need is 12v when your stereo is on.

Maybe put a cheap switch in line so you can manually turn your amp off and on.

Beware...once the car audio bug hits you, you may never go back. I must be on my 10th system by now. Every one gets better and better.

congrats man! sorry about the amp frying. check the fuses as always. i just blew 2 fuses on my mtx th202 the other day and everything is still fine. im just out of 20a fuses . yea i am on my second real system now. its at least twice as loud and twice as clear with half the power for subs! gotta love the JL w0 series
