Thump in subs when using anything

Thump in subs when using anything
A friend of mine (REALLY) explained to me that whenever he uses his power lock or windows while the hu is on he gets a thump in the subs. i was thinking it was a grounding issue but wanted to get somemore opinions. anything else to look for
