best sound deadening for the buck
www.raamaudio.com heavier and stickier than peel and seal.
Also heard brown bread and a few others are there with raamat.
also e-dead v.3 liquid, but it won't "seal" like a mat deadener will.

Second Skin Audio has tons of good priced deadening, the owner really knows his stuff and tests everything well before he puts it up for sale.

They make a product very very similar to dynamat, but at the fraction of the cost. I bought the brown bread from them and love it. They are located in Canada.

skeelo34,
Why do you say it won't last? I used spray foam to fill all the voids between the rear deck & the metal framing, trunk lid & the trunk metal support, between the metal where the trunk release is & the back of the vehicle under the carpet & I have had no problems. Sounds great & my spoiler doesn't vibrate at all now. I wouldn't suggest using it in places where you can apply dynamat, but it's really your only option for those tight places where you can't even fit your hand. Theres nothing wrong with using spray foam, as long as you use it in the right area's. My spray foam hasn't started to crumble or anything like that & it's been well over 4yrs since I did it...

had in the rear trunk lid. lasted maybe two weeks before it crumbled. maybe because the subs were too powerful?
also, you cant apply too much at a time or it wont dry. it wound up leaking on me after i used maybe 3-4 cans of it in the trunk lid. was very messy. i dont think it was was worth the trouble. the stuff i used was called "great stuff" i think? some yellow foam. i would recommend using other things....
