Radio w/o sound after disconnecting battery & how do I get sound back???

I disconnected my Negative battery terminal when changing a knock sensor & O2 sensor, now my radio comes on but there is no sound despite being on a known local station. No sound from AM either, but digital tuner works. Basic Nissan tape deck AM/FM stereo? Any Ideals? I disconnected both terminals for an hour then reconnected w/o any luck? Antena goes up & down with turning radio off & on, checked for blown fuses but all look good.

Appreciate any imput,
Thanks

Brian

This may sound like a smart a.s.s suggestion, but have you tried adjusting the volume?

Sorry for that sarcastic reply earlier, but here's another one for good measure. Kinda a long diagnosis process eh? j/k
