1999 Maxima SE Amp/Headunit Install help

i just need to know a few things. Which dash kit is needed for the headunit install if needed at all. Where should i ground the amp to once everything else is done. and where should i run the power through, i think theirs a rubber grommit by the power steering pump if im not mistaking i just want to confirm this. And if theirs anything else i should need to know feel free to tell me asap thanks. My friend said that he grounded the amp to one of the bolts underneath the seats. Would some one be so kind and tell me how to remove the seats step by step thanks.

if i remember right there's a grommet to the left (standing in front of the car) of the master cylinder on the firewall. i ran the power wire through that under the carpet to the trunk. as for how to remove the back seat all you have to remove is the piece you seat on there's 2 tabs that you pull forword on about calve high when your seating on the rear seat one on each side. just pull them forward and lift up

just go to best buy they should have a pocket, if not try a junk yard. as for a wiring harness wal-mart has them for around 9 bucks.

yeah just stop at best buy for the pocket. it's made by metra. as for going through the firewall, if it's an auto, you can punch a hole through the firewall where the clutch assembly would normally bolt up.

i got a 99SE...i never did find the extra hole next to the power steering pump everybody talks about, so i ended up drilling a new hole for the power wire...no big thing, won't hurt.

i dunno. i think if you make your own hole and put a grommet in it looks alot cleaner and more professional. then people who look at your car know that the hole was made for power wire to run through. if you poke through an existing grommet it makes you look lazy
