I have a die hard battery that has some corrosion on the positive terminal and a little on the negative. (theres some white stuff that forms around the terminal) If I hook up my wiring to this battery will the metal be eaten through?

 

sand it off with some tin foil or something

 

Mix baking soda with warm water and pour it on liberally. Depending on how bad it is, use a wire brush, youll be fine.

DMad...Ive never seen AnyThing "sanded" with tin foil....

same thing happened to me, just disconnect the battery and wipe it down with a baking soda solution, works extremely well

 

yeah whatever rub it with tin foil, f u guys lol

 

use a wire brush to get it off. just be careful and try not to get it in the eyes.

 

i used the baking soda method...worked great.
