Help a Pioneer.

Hello, I need some audio help. Is the Pioneer DEH-P2600 CD player compatable with my 1996 Maxima? Will I need to get any special adapters or is basically "plug and play"? I have looked all over and only found info on how to install speakers...I need help on installing a receiver. Thanks for you help!

You will need two pieces..wire harness (P/N: 70-7550) antenna adaptor
(P/N:40-NI10). P/Ns are from Metra, other brand companies will vary.

Got a follow up for u Don. I installed a clarion 3 yrs ago. Well its on its last end. I cant remember, did Clarion require a antenna adaptor. If it did, can I use this adaptor to hook up a new pioneer I am getting? Thanks

Yes it does, all aftermarket HUs have a standard antenna input jack. The adaptor is needed to use with Nissans diversity system.

Yes you can still use the one you have.

WOW! Thanks for the replies guys. Very helpful. And I'm glad Pearl96Maxima wrote the part numbers for the adapters. I do not have a Bose system in my Maxima. I just have the standard system.

Okay, I got everything figured out and installed! I just went to Circuit City and someone there showed me everything.
