i recently bought a JVC head unit for around 200 bucks and within a week my damn brother spilled water all over the cd player unit(not the head unit/detachable faceplate). Now when i connect the head unit the thing does not even work at all. i know its broken. i was wonderin where i can get a new cd player unit for it. please help me out here. thanks.

yeah they havent responded..do i know any where i can get a replacement unit but not buy the faceplate again?

 

I'm not sure if you do or not? You would no better on that one then me.

I guess if you don't then JVC would be able to either replace it for you or provide info on who can service the radio for you? Another thing to consider is how much is the replacment going to cost you? if it's close to $200 bucks then i say don't even do it, since thats what a new one cost you in the first place. It might just be worth your while to buy another new HU instead. Well however it turns out good luck...
