Brahma's?
I can ship, but it would be quite heavy. Also my subs are bolted in, not screwed. So once the plexi is on theres no access to them....

Nah no Brahmas for me. Alumapro is actually sending me a set of new redisgned Alchemy RXs. Hopefully theyll stop taking forever with them. There four going to a guy on the west coast, and two coming here. Thats the only six in production so far

i know this is a little off topic but i saw mtv cribs today with all the pimped out rides, and everybody had JL audio with w7s, the dude at the shop has a big wall of boxes filled with JL audio subs and amps. im jus curious, is it because alot of celebs have them that makes the JLs alot of money?

JL has had a good reputation for many years.....way before cribs
My view on JL changed a while ago when they let stores like 6th Ave and other chains sell their products at still unreal prices, clearly with other companies offering the same level of performance/quality at more down to earth prices- But the name has built up some weight behind it, and you see them in cribs-

But let me tell you this.....these dumb F'n rappers dont know shyt about car audio, they just buy brand names- and the kids follow

JL's can do amazing things, but the install has to be worthy as well
Id's kick @ss though Subs like the W7, they are loud, but too "in your face" IMO. I like that butter smooth type that shakes you to the core makes your vision go a bit blurry

Let me put it this way, my system causes me to no longer have functional clear corners in the rear. It broke one of my clear corners off (due to retared flexing in that area) and it broke the polarg bulb on both sides... I had to remove the bulbs and use clear silicone to keep the clear corners in place or they would just break off again.

I could take it 1 step further...but I only have 1 sub (not a typo, just 1) and seeing what this 1 did to my car with only 400/rms going to it. I really dont think the car can handle much more. I now have it wired into 1ohm and its pushing about 1200w/rms and thats about all I think this car can take. I got about 6layers of deadner on there too

Hey guys...before comparing the IDMAX to the W7....They are really one in the same. Both designed/built by ID. ID didnt have the money to mass produce or market it so JL bought the rights to it. As with all of JLs equiptment they havent built it on their own.

The w6v2 was going to be their w7, after purchasing the rights from ID they made that their w7 and came out with the V2 part...

My 2 pennies about JL's are they are great. If you've never owned one, once you do it's kinda like having another favorite sports team. There products to me, make me wanna be a loyal customer. Ever since I owned my first O.G. JL each time I needed to upgrade my system there products upgraded as well. I think thats a good element for any company to have. They just keep trying to 1up themselves. Each time I listen to the soft, rich, full bass that comes from my system it sounds like a symphany to my ears. The bass isn't all (bom bom boom) it's soft sophisiticated to me. It's so weird, the bass just kinda comes in & as the note gets lower & lower you can feel to heat in your ears start to intensify. Then the note stops almost as fast as it started & you get to experience the pleasure of super smooth & controlled bass again & again & again. There just so musical, anyone who owns any brand of excellent subs knows the feeling I'm talking about. It's just so strange, how even though peoples views on certain brands can be good or bad, were just out to have the same thing? The best SQ we can get our hands on.........

This is exactly what I mean about JL products. I had a similar experience as SprintMax. I owned (2) JL 12" W6's & when I replaced those with only 1 of the new 12" W6v2 I thought to myself this one woofer bangs harder then my 2 old W6's? Then I heard 1W7 that blew away 2 of the new W6v2's? They just continually get better & better....
