Digital Dash via 2nd input on monitor

I'm curious to know if this is possible. I currently have a 7.2" LCD with dual input. I have the DVD player going into one, then a Super Nintendo (Mario Kart, oh yeah) going into the other. Seeing as the Nintendo doesn't get much play, I am wondering if there is any kind of wiring schematic/component that I can run from the analog gauges to have them digitally on the screen via the 2nd input. Thanks!

You would need a ODBC scanner and some knowladge of programming and creating dedicated systems.

Hmmmm....I was thinkin that there has to be some kind of board that can convert the signal by tapping into the wires, kind of like

(----- represents a wire)

Speedometer ----------------------------------------------Car CPU
Splice |
---------Board that converts signal
to digital/image with video
out -----------LCD video in

There are some DVD units that have this ability, I believe it's an Alpine
