wiring question

I have an 850 watt amp kit with a 60 awg fuse can I swap out the fuse for something higher and then be able to use it for 1000 watts?

im sure the kit would work for 1000 if it works for 850.

match the fuse in the line to the total fuses on the amps.

is it 4 ga wire? If it is only 8, you shouldnt put 1000w on that kit.
