dealer software install guides?

I was at a stereo and alarm dealer and I saw he had on his computer some software that gave him each wire / guide for each car. Like you could open up "Nissan Maxima" and choose the year, and it would tell you which wire, in which location, is for which thing.

What software is this and where can you get it?

Is there a site like this?

It's sold to car audio and electronics dealers only. Usually available from alarm manufacturers.

But WHAT is it? Brand, product name, etc.

My dealer uses the Clifford one. DEI has one as well.

the company is call MAID

i use it its pretty helpful..... but it wont help u do a remote start with a transpnder

There area few of them. I don't know all the manufacturers that have their own software as I'm not an installer nor do I work for an install shop.....I'm strictly virtual

I remember hearing of ones by Audiovox and Clifford (before DEI bought them).

yeh i got a bunch of the data, but it's raw in a database, not too friendly. wonder how much to buy the software?
