this kit i bought i dont want to open it up as yet because i dont know if it will fit behind my wood trim. it says its for a nissan maxima 95-99 but it doesnt look like it will fit behind the wood? what kind of kits do you guys have to replace that gap?

 

you shouldn't need a mounting kit, just a pocket if its a din size hu. My pocket worked out fine for most part but there is about a 1/2 cm of gap between the hu and pocket.

 

so where can i get a pocket from the same store should carry it?

 

yea i have a single din it just screwed right in and i bought another pocket to fill in the the other DIN spot
