HU wire colors

I recently sold my Bose HU in my 4th gen Max and gave them the wiring harness. I forgot that I actually might need to use these wires with my aftermarket deck. Is there a website or thread that shows what wires are for what function? I found a site that shows the wire colors for the premium sound system in a 1997 Nissan Quest, but I'm not positive that it's the same. I mostly need the wires for the power antenna, power, and accessory.

Do you have any suggestions for ways to hook up the new HU?

Thanks!

when u buy a new deck u have to buy a nissan wire harness adapter, when that is hooked up the colors of the wires will just match the wires that come with your deck

you can always use the guess and check method, but have a bunch of fuses handy....lol j/k just go to any car audio shop and ask for a wiring harness for your car.

Okay yes I understand that would work if I kept the Bose plug, but I cut that off and send it with my HU (doh). All I have is a bundle of bare wires. Again, is there a website or thread that shows the wire colors?

Ahhh you cut the sockets off the factory wiring harness!!!??

Should be no problem. Just find one in a junkyard and match the colors up. Or you may just be able to splice the headunit's wires directly to the wires sticking out of your dashboard. It should all be color coded.

Ay guys, when I installed my aftermarket HU I somewhere along the lines screwed up my antenna. It used to go up for radio and down for Cd, now it goes up as soon as I start the car and stays up. Does this mean maybe I wired it to ignition instead of battery? I can't recall what exactly I wired it to, but any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Im guessing maybe a Pioneer HU? If so its common and nothing is wrong. Pioneer only offers one remote power lead which needs to be used for both amp turn on , as well as antenna up/down. Being that its for both it stays on continuously, thus leaving the antenna up. *Some* other HUs do the same, but nowadays theres very few.
