My radio is fuzzy.

I have bose and when I play the radio (any station, even with good signals) it is fuzzy. CDs play perfectly clear. I have a pioneer headunit and it still is fuzzy like it was with the stock HU. How can I fix this?

On my pioneer headunit, the antenna is always up, it doesn't have the option to put the antenna up only when the radio is on, is there anyway I can make it so the antenna stays down when I have a CD in, and then goes up when I turn on the radio? I hate when it goes up and down changing CDs.

The reason the antenna doesnt go down between sources is due to Pioneer. They dont offer an independant power antenna lead. Only option is to add a switch inline with it.

Bad reception from the aftermarket antenna is due to converting Nissans 'diversity' antenna sytem to standard.
