Sound Deadening

I am sure this has been covered a few times and I"m also sure Dynomat is probably the best product to achive this. If your doing the entire car using Dynomat gets really expensive. Are there any reasonable alternatives to Dynomat that fits the wallet a little better? I've seen references to "B-Quiet" and "R-Blox". Has anyone used either of these products or do you have any other suggestions?

Yes I have the rear deck rattle......It's not too bad inside the car, I can hear it occasionally but outside the car is is really bad.

Just get some Dynamat for the rear deck. It shouldn't cost much

Look intpo Second Skin. Ant is really great to work with and will help you out. Primary reason I became one of his dealers.

Dynamat is probably not the best out there. Simply the most known.

i used scoche mat from ebay. but since i live like 30 minutes away from a mobile dealer, i got it for 20 flat without shipping. i got 5 or 6 sheets of 12"x12" and it works great. all the rear deck rattle is gone and it sounds good. much better than getting dynamat for about 60 or so. its the sticky type so all you need to do it peel it off and stick it on the deck.

Dynamat is by far the most well known...and good stuff too. I've recently tried this product called "Dead Skin" from www.Install Edge.com. So far only had time to do one door panel, but I'm amazed. This stuff is dense, is easy to mold, has a good foil backing and sticks like you wouldn't believe......just my 2 cents worth.

I got 150+ sq ft of second skin in my car and i absolutely love it. Ant is a great guy to work with. check out his website www.secondskinaudio.com . its alot cheaper than Dynamat and i feel it is as good of if not a better product than Dynamat.

I'm not going to say that Dynamat is the best but i will say that I applied Duna Extreme to my trunk and rear deck plus I also used FatMAT on top of DE and It has made a hell of a difference with sound deadening in my car. My trunk would rattle so much that it broke the leds in my spoiler, thus I removed it and haven't replaced it yet. But after sound proofing the car it does not rattle anymore.
