I ordered a radio kit for the 2000 max from them last week and I'm still waiting on it, so far nothing bad to say.

I have ordered several things from them.

They have some slow a** shipping! As for the prices, depends on what your looking for. Most of time you can find everything cheaper, b/c about the same prices as crutchfield. Just a little different but basically the same.

places like...

http://www.tms-electronics.com (have ordered several amps, changers, and headunits from them with no problems!)

http://www.soundhabit.com (cheap, cheap prices. gonna most likely order some amps from them in a couple of weeks.)

http://thezeb.com/zebaudio.html (cheap prices, but thier inventory is down for the 2001 models)

Look at those places for cheap equipment. As for install parts such as wire, cables, kits, etc. then look at sounddomain or crutchfield. I think you will get faster shipping from crutchfield though.

A note on the 2000/01 dash kit

I have had an order at Sounddomain.Com on such a kit since Feburary, but the Scosche kit is on back order NATION-wide. being redesigned; this is the reply I got to a query about the Nissan kit from Scocshe.com

David,

Sorry for the delay. We had a couple of problems with the design of the plastic parts which we've fixed now and we're also having the parts color matched which takes a couple of weeks to happen. We should be shipping by May.

Best regards,

This is the email I got from the source, other than this oversight everythhing I've ordered from Sounddomain came within a week of ordering it.

other links you can try that I've done business with are;

http://www.mmxpress.com

http://www.digitalwavez.com

and of course Autotoys.com

Don't know about Guam...

I had an install done by my local stereo shop (didn't have the time myself). Well got a lot of engine whine and the stereo shop didn't want to rewire my system except for a minor charge of $100 with the original wiring. Well that wasn't acceptable to me so I knew I had the weekend off. I went to sounddomain on Sunday night and order new patch cables, power wire, ground wire, speaker wire. I put it on 2 day shipping b/c they are in seattle and I knew ground shipping would get here to late. Well my order was not sent out till thursday! I didn't get the package till monday of the following week. Well I was peeved, but I got the time to install it all later that week, but it still shouldn't take more than a day to get all that together. I ordered a set of Q form kick's for a truck of mine and it took 2 1/2 weeks to recieve. And oh, they were all in stock at least according to the website.

i recommend http://www.stereoliquidators.com/ They have REALLY cheap prices and shipping is INCLUDED in most of the items. i ordered a pair of kenwood speakers from them, it took 3 days to get to me. THey have good service, although limited products but good prices.

i ordered from autotoys too, and they ripped me off on shipping! may have good prices, but the shipping is where they get you!

SoundDomain is a good reliable operation. I'll put a plug here for www.ampmanaudio.com and www.theautophile.com as well.

John from www.mmxpress.com is a good friend of mine that also runs a reliable operation with teriffic prices.

To anyone considering ordering from SoundHabit.com I forwarn you. They are not very reliable. They don't have any stock on hand and rely on local dealers to get product for which they are unauthorized to carry. You may order from them and have a good experience if they can supply the product quickly. I know of numerous cases though where someone's orderd a product and had their card charged immediately and have been waiting for months for them to supply the product. Do some reasearch at www.dejanews.com before you plunk your hard earned money down...

Quite a few of the honest dealers will ship worldwide, I know Ampman and theAutophile does.

If you want a local source there's a fella I know on one of my mailing lists from Guam and his place his called JRS Audioworks you can contact hism at jmolina_at_ite.net

oh yeah... crutchfield i know ships to guam and they are fast and reliable but the rockford amps are cheaper elsewhere...
the problem with some of the companies is either they dont know where the heck guam is, or they dont know its a u.s. territory, or they use only UPS and UPS to guam is ridiculously expensive.

Dude, at least they're MAKING one for the 2k Max. The kit for the 2k i30 may be up to a YEAR away, according to Scosche.

2000/01 Dash kit

If you were driving a GM product they would have next years model available, but such is the market, have you checked
Metra? as they've just introduced the the 2K Maxima Kit
(rather simplistic) but don't know the status of the I30

I don't know that I've checked Metra but I will. Thanks for mentioning it. I bet I've checked them or one of their resellers. It sux. I'm paying hundreds of dollars for custom work instead of just getting a pre-fab dash kit that i could put wood trim on, or custom paint ,or whatever ...

Sounddomain.com is FU6KING SLOW!

I ordered from them on March 16th. I received everything on May 7th. I had to call multiple times. The first problem was verifying my information with the bank. The next problem was that the information was correct but no one processed the order. They upgraded me to 2 day delivery free of charge. Well 2 day delivery turned into 28 day delivery. Called again. No one processed the order for the antenna adapter and wire harness and the install kit was on backorder but should arrive soon. After all this time the install kit arrived on May 4th and the adapter and harness on May 7th. Great prices but I will not do business with them again.

Sorry to hear about the slow service. i know how it is having to wait for orders to arrive. i was thinking about ordering some rf amps from them, but now im hesitant. i ordered a dash kit, harness, and antenna adapter from crutchfield and it came in 6 days, which is pretty fast considering im on guam.

Don't forget to check "autotoys.com". I've found their prices even cheaper. The website is a little funky, but they have a wide variety of products and seem to have been around a while. I found great prices at Xtremeshopper.com, although their selection is not as extensive.
