sub and amp shifting

my subwoofer setup is extremely sloppy at the moment and i am wondering how you got it to be more solid did u cut wood to fit the truck because that is what i think i am going to do

cut the wood to fit the trunk? o you mean to fill up the back part of the trunk. i am alsp planning on doing that too, because the plain box alonne doesnt look right. check out the sticky at the top of the page of whats inside your trunk. thats where i get my ideas from

Got mine held in w/ 4 bungie cords and its working fantastically. The sub doesnt move, and i drive my car really hard in turns and braking.

yup, L brackets are the way to go. I have 2 2x4 pieces of wood behind the rear seat that the 2 amps are mounted to, and right in front of them i have the sub box mounted with 2 L brackets that are screwed into that flimsy board under the carpet. I drive my car really hard and they never move.

Why don't you use some velcro? Cheap, works good and easily removeable if you ever decide to make a change.

if it holds him up, i'm sure it'll hold the amp.
