Brake Wire Color/Where its at?

Ok guys, simple question please help.
I am trying to install an alpine dvd/screen, i need to find the brakelight wire. I have seen several pages that say its red/green and is located on the switch above the brake pedal. I got the haynes manual out and found where it SHOULD be, but the wire there is Green/black. This is a 2001 Maxima. This is confusing the hell out of me.
Thanks

It actually Is red/green and located above the pedal. Although theres two hanress there. The one you looked in apparently isnt the correct one. An easier way to get it would be in the driver side kickpanel. There will be a large group of wires wrapped in black. It is easily accesible there. Theres a few of the same color, just test to confirm

yeah,
my manual was pointing to the lower of the two harnesses. I found it on the top one. But it sure is hard to get my big hands up under there, i'm going for the kickpanel to actually splice. thanks man.
