3rd subwoofer. Where to place the enclosure?
3rd subwoofer. Where to place the enclosure?
Hey, guys.
I want to add one more subwoofer to my system. The only space available in the trunk is if I place the subwoofer by the trunk side, facing the right side of the car. Will it produce nice sound in this position?
Thanks,
Ilya

just a quick question, it is the same brand and size as your previous 2 right? and instead of entirely different enclosure for it, you might want to consider seeing if somebody can make you an enclosure for all 3. i havent had alot of luck with equipment sounding as good as it can if lets say 2 subs are in one box, and the 3rd is in a whole new position/enclosure. just my $.02

The reason I do this, is I have a PL2-212 box right now. I am not reaaaally happy with the SQ. So I want to add either R-type or an Arc 12D4. If I like the improvement, I'll replace my RF with another sub or two. I'm gonna power up the third sub with a separate amp.
