viper question

hey org,

i've had the two way installed in my car and when i remote start the car the heater/radio/seat heaters, etc do not come on until i put the key in the ignition and turn it to the "on" position.

not too sure why this is happening.

anyone?

it has to be something to do with the installation, cuz on mine, my last car, and the others maxes and cars ive seen, that is definitley not the case. hopefully don will see this thread and know what is going on, since my post didnt really help too much.

yeah, whatever i leave turned on (except the rear defroster and heated wheel) will turn on as soon as i remote start the car, the only thing i need the key in the ignition for is the memory seat.

sounds like they might have missed an accessory wire or something under the dash. Go back to where you installed it and let them know that the heater doesn't turn on. Should be an easy fix

They have the wrong ignition wire. Although they should have tested it before letting you leave, that would be what theyre missing....

Should be..Pink to Black/Red
Pink/White to Red/Yellow
Orange to White/Blue

The only thing that won't work when the remote start is activated is actually driving the car. Hit the brake to shift car shuts off. I do that quite often.

yeah you gave me a list of three wires, the pink, pink/white and orange. and where to put them, i'm just worried that if they are connected already, where do i put the ones that were previously there.
