Double Din HU for 99

My first post. Really good site for info.

Will a double din HU unit fit perfectly in the existing dash of my 99 Maxima?
I'm wondering if the hole in the dash is exactly 2-din or something weird. I'm considering the Pioneer FH-P5000 MP or the Kenwood DPX-MP4070.

Thanks,

Check crutchfield for the products that they carry that will fit into your double din slot and work from there.

Holy crap that post #2 picture kicks butt. I have a 2001, which I learned is a gen 5. I really would like to know what people with gen 5's are doing with their Double Din.

if you are looking for a screen the microvision and dvd/cd/am/fm head unit can never go wrong. i use to have a clarion adz525 in my car before i had the mircrovision and that was an awsome double din head unit.
