Sound Dampening Material
hell no its not possible. but its possible to eliminate some of it. i use peal and seal some stuff you can get a lowes or home depot. its made for roofs. but is just tar with a aluminum foil on the top of it just like dyno matt. it cost $12 a roll, 6 inch by 25 feet long. i used about 4 rolls in my trunk and it works great i still have rattles, but i have 2 12s and 2400 watts rms and ported boxes. still he helps a lot. i put 1 layer on the floor coverd by a 3/4 mdf floor and put about 3 layers on the trunk lid with expanding foam inbetween the trunk lid braces. it make the trunk lid act like a solid peice with the expanding foam filling up the gap and the peal and seal covering the trunk lid bracing.
Fatfoam is supposedly good, plus if you double it up it's supposed to be 3 times more effective. It's not that expensive either. I'm getting a 12" Brahma put in and I'm getting Fatfoam, I'm also gonna put it in the doors and rear decklid.
if u wanna do it good and properly, stick with the materials that are designed for cars
check my www for pix of my trunk deadening
i used mat/foam on my lid and anything upside-down
liquid everywhere else
for the lid (mat) I recommend Brown Bread or Second Skin Damplifier
For the liquid (sides and bottom) I recommend Second Skin Spectrum

Finally peopel that hate Dynamet. Usually when this topic is discussed people are always like "Go with dynamat."
Second skin is good stuff and I'm going to put it on my car when I get my new trunk lid.

i just fatmatted my car today, well not very much.
my little story: i went to fix that seatbelt rattle, that worked. i tried putting cushion under the deck, taht's where i ran into some problems. of the three white pins that hold it down, i can't get the middle one in no matter how hard i try. so i tried putting everythign together with just that one not connected and turned on the music...it flaps a little but not nearly as much as before. if i can somehow get the middle pin in (which i broke lol) i think the rattle would be 90% gone

some people use peal and seal and say it doesnt smell once you put all the panels on. i personally would rather just get some other cheap deadener, as long as you're not wasting money on dynamat
Just ordered some fatmat and will be installing in trunk when I recieve. Looks like it is some pretty hefty stuff with proper tolerances and is a lot like dynamat extreme but way cheaper. I did my old 3rd gen with roof stuff and it worked alright but part of the trunk I did in dynamat extreme and it was: a. easier to work with, b. didn't stink, c. was a much better sound deadener. So...if fatmat is as good or better like people say, do it right. Hard to go wrong with $50-100.

Now I'm doing the max which is black and gets hot in the summer I plan on keeping the eDead in the trunk and using peel 'n seel on the interior. I'm doing this because the edead stinks when its not even hot and peel 'n seel doesn't. I'm afraid the eDead will smell even worse when it gets hot.
Haha, sure ighettoboyi. I've got some extreme lying around and today is a beautiful day.... A note to everyone, make sure to really examine your seatbelt retractors. Often there will be rattling in that area so damp them if you can. : )

^^ agreed. I already did the seat belt holders and the rear deck. As for the edead smelling, I've never used it but I'm not a big fan of elemental designs. A lot of people are but I think their customer service sucks majorly, I've never gotten one returned email out of like ten. I've heard good things about Ben's products but I don't think I'm ever going to give them any of my money. just my thing
