sound deadening

who here has sound deadened their maximas? if you have, how much mat would you say would be a reasonable amount to do a 4th gen max?

(front doors, rear deck, and trunk)

The third friggin sound deadening question today.

It depends on how many layers you want. Pearl96Max has I think 3 layers of second skin in his doors and when you close it you can hear the difference. There is also no sound on the inside. So it's really up to you.

so then which would be better.....put sound deadening in the car then the system, or put the system in first and see where it rattles and the put it in

You can put one layer of deadining in and then install the system and see where you seen more.
