I have a 95 Maxima SE 5-speed with remote start. Does anybody know if the Maxima has a neutral safety switch located anywhere to prevent it from starting in gear. My friend who installs them for a living says some cars have them, but he wasn't sure about the Maxima. Thanks.

 

The wire is Green/White located top right on the ECU.

So if I hook it up to the alarm, the car will not start in gear, correct?

 

If hooked up correctly then no it wont start
