People with Bose and aftermarket subwoofers, help!

I got '00 Maxima with Bose. I connected my subs with a hi/low through the Bose's subwoofer on the back. Doesn't seem to work properly. I am just curious. Where do you connect your subs to? To the regular rear speakers? Has anyone connected it through the back Bose's subwoofer?

Thanks,
Ilya

I believe you connect them to the rear speaker wires BEFORE the amp.

this is what you do. there should be four wires. 2 for the left side rear speakers, and 2 for the right side rear speakers. now you connect the pos and neg wires from the hi low adapter to the connector on the rear speakers not the sub. basically, you would connect the wire from where the bose amp connects to the bose speaker. thats where you want it. so wire should go on the terminal that the bose amp connects to the bose speaker. then this to the rcas. for my rear speakers i had to take out that plastic backing to get to the terminals on the bose amp. after that it should work fine.
