ok, im planning on buying a cva1000 in the next couple of days, and was wondering if i can hook my alpine cd player up to it(cda-7840) im thinking that it is possible because it has the ai net cd shuttle control, so technically couldn't i just take the ai net cable and hook it from the cva1000's brain and into the back of my deck??????thanks in advance!!!!

 

you can but i would get the cva1005 at least and the new iva at best. the cva1000 is pretty old and can't do regular video without a major hack.

I don't see why you couldn't control your changer from it. They are both Ai-net. You really should be able to... I'm about 95% sure.

if you want to send rca video into the cva1000 you have to really hack it. Unlike the cva1005 which is made for it.
