Rockford Fosgate P152s Question

I'm looking at these are front door replacements in my '02. The speakers are component style, and have 2 tweeters per 5 1/2 driver. Supposedly the tweeters can be mounted over the cone, or separately. My question is, can you mount only one over the cone (unlike the factory set), and the other in the front 'A' pillar (like the original speakers)?

I can't find anything on RF's site that tells the answer to this, and I figured somebody out here must have a set of these.

Yes, that is the case. There's a pole piece to mount one of the tweeters on and another accessory pack that includes the mounting hardware to mount them in the pillar.

So the 2-tweeter mount they show on their website is not the only one then? Or do I simply only install one of the tweeters in the 2-tweeter mount? Plus (I'm getting to be a pest now, sorry), is the wiring set up to separate the tweeters this far?

Thx

There's all different kinds of mounts that come in the kit. Dual tweeter, single tweeter, component style. Flush mount and surface mount tweeter cups. So you will want to use the single tweeter pole piece in the doors and use the other set of tweets in the pillars. It was designed to be very versitile.

I like the Power Series better...but the Punch Series are a huge improvement over the Fanatic Series from the past 2 years. Better build quality and they sound awesome.
