Is this box too big for my subs?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...e=STRK:MEWA:IT

I have a pair of two old punch xlc tens that I am thinking about giving to a friend to provide some budget boom in his car. I think that the manufacturer suggests that these subs get .75 cubes each in a sealed box. I put the dimensions of this box into a calculator and came up with 1.25 cubic feet each (Not counting the divider in between and the space that the drivers will take up). Are my calculations correct? Is that too big? How will this affect SQ and power handling on these subs?
It looks like a good cheap box. I mean it is 3/4 mdf. What do you think?

the bigger the box, the less power you need to reach full excursion

the bigger the box, the lower the power handling for the subs at higher volumes

So it would sound ok in this box?
And as far as power handling, will .2-.3 cubic feet make that much of a difference?

I thought about building it but I don't have enough material left from the last one and since this box on ebay is so cheap it almost isn't worth building one anyway.
Oh, almost forgot. What would be a good way to wire these in parallel in this box? Drill a small hole in the center divider to daisy chain the wire or what?
