Opnions on Bazooka Tubes

What are your opinions on
Tube 1

or

Tube 2

Does anyone know what "Marine based bass tube" is compared to the "subwoofer tube"?

What are your thoughts on this? Is it worth the $$? I have a pioneer hu (deh4400) and just want some bass.

Anyone with any experience with the tubes? I don't want to spend the $$ on a sub, box, and amp.

Well, I think the marine tube is probably better protected against water and salt erosion so as to not get messed up when used on a boat. Opinions on the tube...you get what you pay for. The tubes will give a little bass, but if you're going to spend some money, you might as well wait a little while and get something worth owning...just my .02

I am guessing the "marine tube" is designed to go in boats, not cars, even though it will probably work.

If you want to avoid the whole amp/sub/box thing, I would look into an Infinity Basslink ahead of a tube. A lot of guys that just want to add a little bass go with this set up. I have heard one and I thought it sounded pretty good. You can find them at Circuit City or wherever you can go that has Infinity.

There are some that list their Basslinks on this forum in the classified section.

I've had the basslink and bazookas before. The bazookas hit much better than the basslink does, but the basslink takes up less room.

Bazookas are a good alternative only if you get the bigger coned ones. 10" atleast to get some decent bass.
