my sub does this only because it is blown. but this used to happen to me before when the amp turns on before the hu. that was when my amp remote wire was connected to my acc. fuse. neways that poping noise is because of no signal to the amp.

yes that is also true. if you hear a little hiss when there is no cd in or when the volume is all the way down you have bad grounds. i mean once its not a loud staticy noise its ok.

might be just your amp turning on and off. some amps are good at "quiet turn-ons" while others are not.

Its the amp grounding. Mine used to do this, then I went and made sure I had a damn good grounding point, now it no longer makes that "poping" noise.

Yeah I know, dont have too much time for forums anymore. I try to stop by every now & then but at this rate I doubt ill hit 4k posts this year.

Things here look a bit diff too.

edit: Btw my system setup is now 1 b15 and two midrange speakers in the rear doors. So I only got 3 speakers working in the whole damn car Still no time to fix it, I need a new set of comps upfront...my crossovers "kinda" broke...take a wild guess at what broke em So I need to relocate those things into the front doors now, away from the bull.

I know. (I can feel the threadjack coming back)

Im considering sealing it up & see how I like it.

Reasons are...

1) Now I got another rattle from the from passenger door & I cant figure out wtf it is!!!!

2) Ive had to re-tighten my mirror (vibration loosened the screw into the base)

3)My rear deck lid is pretty much jello at this point.

4)It already broke my rear clear corners

5)I now have to spend more $ on a new set of comps. My sub apperently didnt like the Bostons much so it broke the crossovers that controlled them.

...and to make things worst I went and found the loudest song ive ever played.

Track no.3 on LiL Jons new CD. I cant even hear any words, just blarring loud bass. as cool as it might be to get your vision a bit wobbly thats not my concern.

6) I think if your teeth are vibrating (and no in no way am I exaggerating about that, you can literally feel your teeth shaking with that song) it cant be a good thing I think I may have shooken a filling loose, Ill find out when I go to the dentist next week

7)Ohh and another thing, the Bull doesnt seem to like its box much either. It broke loose one of the port walls and you can hear it hitting the box & making a loud grinding type noise if your near the trunk. The noise stops if I put my hand inside the port & put pressure on it.

So there you have it. Hell & I was considering getting another one, screw that. Ill probably break the rest of the car

gotta love that cd, track 6 hits damn hard as well. but i see one simple solution while your car is still somewhat intact: turn it down!

ok, threadjacking over (for real this time)

It wont be able to that what its doing now if its sealed, its kinda like chaining the beast. So I wont have the chance to turn it up that loud.
