How can I tell if polarity is reversed on mid basses?

I just installed my components and I'm not 100% sure that i got the polarity correct. Is there anyway to tell without taking the door panels off again?

If its not correct, will it damage the speaker or does it not matter?

No, you can't do it w/o removing the panels again.

To check for polarity problems, you have to reverse the connections and see which one sounds better.

where do you people get your information from? lol

its perfectly fine for the speaker. infact if both speaker's polarities are reversed then there is no need to change it since the speakers are in phase with each other. if one is reversed and the other isn't then they are out of phase and the midbass gets weak from cancellations, but no it is NOT harmful.

interesting... I've been told that reversing polarity makes the speakers play the other way somehow and thus can blow them...
