Pioneer question

Theres a new head unit out from Pioneer (DEH-P80MP). Now some of them out on the internet have the product # (DEH-P8MP). Now this is from pioneer's Premier series. Whats the difference between the Premier and the Regular Pioneer? On the face plate on the Premier one it says "Premier" instead on Pioneer and vice versa. Whats the deal?

I think the pre-outs are a higher voltage on Premier. That's the only difference I noticed when looking at difference between regular 8600MP and Premier 8600MP

then only difference I believe between the premier and regular units are the difference in connections on the back, I think that premier models come with a seperate sub connection.

The premiers offer you double the warranty (2yrs in comparison to one), a steering wheel remote instead of the credit card on certain models, and a bump in output voltage (Usually 6.5 in comparison to 4). The internal amplifiers still offer the full 27x4 watt RMS rating (Or 22 dependent on model) but claim the same Mosfet 50. Premier used to be the top notch line assembled by hand and "autographed" by your assembler, that has gone downhill and the gain for the price difference is trivial.
