Aight, I got a 98 Max with the Bose Sound System. I wanted to get a new Deck but keep the stock speakers but people keep telling me that you can't do that because of the discrepancy of OHMS that the two run at.
Okay, since I can't do that, i was interested in just getting SUBS then.

Keeping the stock deck, with thee stock bose speakers, and getting a nice sub. Is that a good idea. I mean..i don't really want it to thump...just want it to sound clean and crisp with the added bass. What would i have to do to add a sub then? Will i control the base from the factory **** on the deck or would I control the base from the amp?

Any ideas would be appreciated cuz i really don't know anything about subs and stuff. What would be some good subs and amps, however i don't want something ridiculously expensive. How are the JL W3's? Would my truck rattle if i didn't get it dynomatted?

Any input would be appreciated.
