DVH-P5000MP with XM

I have the Pioneer DVH-P5000MP CD/DVD player with the new Turk XM Radio adapters. I have been trying for hours to figure out how to type in the channel and go directly to it without having to hit the arrow button 180 times...
The owners manual has been no help in this situation it says look to the XM adapter, but its not made by Pioneer so it was no help either, can anyone help?

Does it have a remote with a number pad? Maybe set the input to XM and type the channel you want with the remote?

well ive got it half way figured out, my remote has a "direct" button on there (dont ask me how i missed that one) and it comes up "CH---" and you can type in a number but i cant conferm the number or what ever, ive hit "direct" typed in a channel that i know is active and then hit every button on the remote, but it still wont switch to the selected channel...
