Keyless Entry Dead

Want to reprogram the keyless entry have the code and instructions. The keyless entry does not work. I checked all fuses, is there anything else I could check?

don't take this the wrong way, but you check the batteries first?

Everything else in the car functions properly. Is there a battery besides the main battery?

I think he meant to check the battery in the key fob. Or I could be totally wrong.

I take it there is a battery in the keyless entry panel. Any removal tips?

Forgive these guys. They stopped putting the keypad since the 3rd Gens so the 4th, 5th, and 6th Gen owners don't know how convenient it was to have that feature.

What do the instructions say? The code is supposedly on a sticker underneath the glovebox. I think that's the master code that you will need to reprogram. It's been years since my 91 GXE. But, if I remember correctly, I needed that code underneath the glovebox.

Oooooooooooooooh... I'm sorry, I completely forgot about the keypad, and sorry to be ignorant and not even check what gen vehicle you own.

Well, I don't know anything about the keyless entry, but I'm sure if someone will know, so I guess this is just a bump.

I have the code and the instructions on reprograming the keyless entry. I have no power to the key pad? Any help would be appreciated.

I know its tough to remember the older ones, I owned a 93 for 6 years. And then I had the chance to pick this car up for a good price and I love that body style.

Thanks again.

The keypad might just be dead. It is a 14 year old car, you know. Being out in the elements have taken its toll.
