universal GPS navigation system

Does anyone know if any company makes a universal GPS navigation system. I already have a screen and HU. I need a Navigation unit that would do video and audio out to any source for under $300. Because anything over $300, I migh as well a portable GPS device. But I would like to use the screen in my car to make it look stock.

I think if it was that cheap, many people on here would get it. I'm interested myself and I think the only way to go is get a portable one for like $400 and up unless you got like a G to spend

you would probably have to get one of those PDAs with navi on it, and then see if it can output to another monitor, convert to composite (yellow) video, and see that on your screen. it will not look that great, but i dont think what you are referring to exists.

Those portable GPS systems don't look natural and don't really fit in anywhere. Spend a little extra money and keep the interior clean.

The portable also lack several with their connections. Very slow updates as well if you happen to travel even the slightest bit off course....
