Subwoofer help/advice needed.

Okay, so here is the situation.
I run a single 10 inch kappa perfect in a 1.10cf slot ported box tuned to 34hz. The box is an awesome, made by sub zero. Anyway, I decided to experiment a little and stuffed the port tightly with a rag, essentially making the box a 1.10 cf sealed box. Now my kappa's instructions note a .60cf box should be used. essentially, my box is nearly double that. However, it sounds fantastic, no more boom and the deep end is nice and extended. Also, I really don't feel a WHOLE loss in SPL. Do i need to worry about the box being too big? What are the cons of running a box to big? .60cf is VERY small. What would I gain by putting it in a .60cf box as opposed to keeping it my 1.10 sealed? Thanks!

the sub will be a bit more efficient on using the power its getting if it's in a larger box. low end extension will be better too in a larger box. imo, i'd keep it in the larger 'sealed' box.
