Factory Clairion

I like the look of the factory CD player in the Max. My only problem is it doesn't like too many of the burned CD's. Does anyone have an idea as to how I would solve this problem. Getting an aftermarket defeats the purpose. I am already aware of that solution. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try buying a CD player cleaning kit. It's just like a normal CD except it has little brushes on the bottom that will clean the laser. They shouldn't be more than $10.

It seemed to help some when I'd get the dreaded "CD ERR" message.

Mitsui, these were the only thing that my older Alpine cd player played consistently. Give them a shot. I used their Silver ones.
